Mission Work in Africa

The Braman Foundation of Charities engages in a variety of initiatives across Africa, focusing on community support, religious outreach, and children's welfare. In Kenya, it partners with the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) to support 184 churches in the Lake Region, led by Bishop Peter Midodo, by aiding in church construction and pastor training through the Sowers School of Ministry. It also conducts conferences, such as one in Ndhiwa in 2019, and collaborates with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for Sunday school teacher training in Ngong. Additionally, the Foundation offers an "African Retreat" in Kenya, combining spiritual reflection with cultural experiences like safaris and local mission work.

In Sierra Leone, the Foundation supports the Wipe Our Tears Children Orphanage and Widows, providing food and supplies to 32 children amid economic challenges, as seen during a 2023 visit. In Uganda and South Sudan, it extends its conference efforts, offering pastoral and Sunday school training to 18 churches. Since 1987, it has facilitated travel missions to Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda, raising funds and awareness for these regions. Through these efforts, the Foundation aims to uplift communities, support Christian ministry, and address practical needs like food security and education for children.
