Understanding Humility

“Humility is not thinking of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.” -C.S. Lewis

The only way to really grow in overcoming this dilemma is: confession, confession, and confession. In your confession, ask the Holy Spirit to purify your self and to reveal what needs to be confessed.

“Say Lord, ‘Reveal to me what causes our seperation Lord, I am sorry, Lord.’” Do this until you weep for your condition. Do this as you grow in your realization of the weariness of your self.

“Say Lord, remove me from thinking of me, me, me, and bring others in my life that I may help of Thy ways.” Say Amen!

Lord, Lord teach me to be humble through serving Thy children. Lord help me to forget about me, yet Thy will be done, not mine. Lord I know you are with me, yet I struggle so much with me. This is a wretched life I lead of sin and carnage. Lord remove from this difficulty, if it be Thy will. Lord I will serve you until my last breath.

Lord I used to believe that Satan was my biggest foe, yet now I know.
